1. Using SokoByte

SokoByte is a marketplace for discovering and listing phones in Kenya. You agree to use the service lawfully and provide accurate information when creating an account or listing a phone.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not create an account using another person's identity or information without authorization.

3. Listings

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including the phone model, condition, price, location, storage, battery information, warranty information, and other claims. SokoByte may review, reject, remove, or restrict listings that violate these terms or marketplace rules.

4. Transactions

SokoByte provides marketplace discovery and communication features. Unless a specific transaction feature states otherwise, buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing on payment, inspection, delivery or collection, and other transaction details.

5. Prohibited content

Do not use SokoByte for fraud, stolen devices, unlawful goods, impersonation, harassment, malicious activity, misleading listings, or attempts to bypass security or access controls.

6. AI assistant

The AI assistant helps users search published listings. Its responses should not be treated as an independent guarantee of a phone's condition, availability, authenticity, price, or seller claims. Verify important details with the listing and seller before a transaction.

7. Service changes

SokoByte may add, remove, or change features as the marketplace develops. We may also suspend accounts or listings where necessary to protect users or the service.
